Enhancing your Appearance with Rhinoplasty Surgery

I was surprised today when I saw my face already got belofied at Belo Medical Group’s fanpage in Facebook. Dra. Vicki Belo who is more popularly known as the “Ambassadress of Beauty” or the “Doctor to the Stars,” is the medical director of the Belo Medical Group.

They are aiming to become a world-renowned destination for cosmetic surgery and dermatological services as they pioneer for the latest beauty breakthroughs in surgical and non-surgical procedures for almost two decades now.

I was actually curious about my looks if ever I will undergo some treatments and procedures for my face. And since they are offering a free make over for their Facebook fans using a computer applications and simulated with possible procedures done at Belo Medical Group, I decided to give it a try by sending my full head shot facing front photo of mine since this is one of their photo requirements.

However, they said that they cannot promise that same results can be achieved though these simulations are based on actual before & after photos. Their best advice is to consult a Belo doctor for proper assessment. The possible treatments/procedures that were digitally done for my face was the Rhinoplasty surgery.

Rhinoplasty or nose surgery is  referred to as “nose reshaping” or a “nose job,” that improves the appearance and proportion of your nose. It is approached structurally using cartilage grafts to create a more lasting natural look. These implants are individually sculpted at the time of surgery therefore creating a natural and personalized look.

Hmmm… I think it looks better and nice but I still prefer not to touch my nose using this procedure. I better leave it just the way it is since I am happy and contented on it. How about you my friends? what do you think of my belofied photo?

In Taking Care of My Skin

I think most Filipina women are dreaming to have a flawlessly white skin. But in my case, I actually don’t like to get white. I am happy and contented of my brown skin complexion. I don’t like wearing too much make up also. I don’t even have many skin care regimens, secrets and all that beauty stuffs. I do take care of my skin specially on my body by always taking a proper good hygiene such as taking showers using mild soap to reduce microbe count on my skin.

Regarding my face, I always wash it daily because I believe it will clear the oils on my face so pimples don’t accumulate. I use facial scrub in order to get rid of those blackheads. Moisturizers is also a must for my skin as I always put body lotion every day after bathing.

I also do some simple exercise such as walking to help reduce cellulite and improve my muscle tone. I practice good nutrition by eating right.More veggies and fruits instead of oily, greasy, sweet foods and soft drinks. I even include herbs and spices from salads in my meal to help in reducing stress like red skin from the summer sun.

This easy to do things on how to take care of my skin may be simple and cliche but this very basic way is important as it helps in pampering myself in order to have a good skin and healthy lifestyle as it also helps to delay the natural aging process and prevents many skin problems.

I’m sharing my simple beauty regimen for

Getting Rid of Oily Face

I hate to admit but I am one of the many people that are suffering from skin that is shiny, greasy and very oily. There are a lot of products that are being advertised on television and we were even enticed to try out this products specially when it is endorsed by a famous celebrity.

But when it comes to oily skin care products and the ingredients that they use, they are no more than fillers of cheap ingredients that can even cause our skin specially to our face to breakout into even more oils, and even the best skin care experts in the world would not advise anyone to use such products.

There are solutions to our dilemma and it is possible to actually help our body from producing too much of the natural oil. We all know that excess oily skin is known for bringing on an onslaught of acne, spots, blackheads and other skin blemishes.

But what can we actually do in order to maintain our appearance without a huge oil slick on our face? Well first of all we just have to make sure to wash our face at least twice a day using warm water and soap, or a soap less cleanser.

To my fellow ladies, make sure to remove your make up before you go to sleep and you should also use products that are water based to prevent any clogging of the pores. Make sure that you also keep a watchful eye on the foods that you eat.Avoid consuming deep fried food and greasy junk food.

If you want a good skin, the most important thing is to take care of it daily. Make it your habit. Your diet also plays an important part, so does getting adequate sleep and exercise.

Colored Prescription Contact Lenses

I actually have several pairs of prescription contact lenses that I purchased a month ago from my optometrist. These are all clear and disposable contact lenses. It has one free pair of brown colored contact lens. I haven’t tried using the colored one yet. My eye doctor told me that they are also selling those colored prescription contact lenses.

Since I have a vision problem, it is recommended for me to be buy a pair of contact lens that has a doctor’s prescription. The reason is that contact lenses that includes the colored ones have more characteristics than just corrective power. My eye doctor have to know the base curve of my eye and the recommended diameter of the lens in it.

For some people who ignores the need for a prescription and just order color lenses they like from the Internet. This is actually not a good idea because continuous wear of contact lenses that are not properly fitted can damage your eyes, even if you never had vision problems before.
