My fellow church mates had an awesome night together with the young bride who is also a member of our church. Too bad I wasn’t able to join them since hubby and I had an important matter to go with. I just enjoyed looking at their cute and funny photos. A bridal shower is indeed a fun way to get the bride-to-be in the company of friends and relatives to celebrate the upcoming wedding. It’s a good chance to pamper the bride and to get her blushing.

It is typically a lady’s affair and I’m sure all the girls will surely love this event. Thanks to my ever creative and resourceful sister in law who made this bridal shower successful. She carefully planned the shower party starting from the theme, decorations and favors. It is a personalized shower around the bride’s favorite things and needs like underwear, beauty kit, make up, stainless steel necklace, personal hygiene things and more.

Our Kind of Fashion Style

Did you noticed something in common with me and my mom’s outfit? Well, I know you obviously noticed that were both wearing leggings and denim skirt. I was actually influenced by mom’s fashion style. I just love looking at her while she’s wearing that kind of outfit. Except that I can’t dare to wear high heels all the time. I just prefer wearing flat flip flops and sandals.

Did you know that this kind of  style was actually revived from the 80′s look? its called Mini over leggings where on top you can either go with a cropped boxy cut top or with a long snug top, tunic length (to the hips) worn outside and over the skirt with a wide belt. And as in the 80s, pumps or flats or even boots can work depending on whether you want to appear dressy or casual. For an inspiration, you can just look up Madonna in the 80s and you will see the look. Big earrings and a bunch of bracelets up your arm will also seal the deal.

If you’re already a regular visitor and follower of this blog, you will noticed that my mom is always been the model on most of my blog post. Even before this blog was created, I already made several fashion posts from my other blogs. There are times that I don’t have any idea what to write on my blog, I just browse some of my photos of my mom from Facebook. I can easily think of interesting topics specially for fashion whenever I saw her nice photos.

I blogged about wearing a Fancy Dress Costumes before from my other blog, and I was surprised that after a few months, I received an email from a direct advertiser who wants to promote their fashion site using text links. They even want to promote their site on all of my blogs.


I am so thankful for my ever supportive mom who are always there in supporting my endeavors specially for my passion in blogging. I actually never think of making money using my mom’s photos. I just wanted to share my mom’s fashionable and trendy style to everyone since I know not all mom’s are just like her who are always IN for fashion. She’s even more Kikay and Fashionista than me and my sister. We were even thought as sisters. Not as a mom and daughter. lol!

Well, of course I am so proud of her. She’s actually my sexy fashion icon of all. Not to mention that my sister and I, and soon my daughter will be the heiress of all her fashion stuff from her designer clothes, shoes, bags and accessories. ^_^

Now that she already knew some advertisers are interested about sponsoring their products from my blog, she’s even more eager to pose in showing all of her fashion stuffs. Thanks Mom for all the help!

Who Wore it Best?

When I first saw this elegant looking dress from my sister’s photo in Facebook, I feel in love with its fashionable style and design. I liked it even more when I saw it worn by my fashionista mom. It’s actually her own dress. My sister just used it when she attended a night party together with her friends.

My mom is currently  spending her holiday here with us and one of her plans from her holiday is to have a reunion of friends from her college batch mates. We were also invited to attend this social occasion that’s why even before she planned this event, I already told her that I don’t have a nice dress to wear for the party.

And since I know she has lots of nice and elegant evening dresses from her closet and as I also browse her photos , I told her that I would like to try wearing this black leathered stretchable tube dress since I like it a lot. I’m glad that she brought it so I was able to wear it at the party.

She also gave me a hot pink gladiator high heels and as I was trying to mix and match my dress with my accessories, I finally decided to match the color combination of hot pink and black where  I wore this gorgeous black dress paired with a hot pink heels, huge belt and dangling pink earrings.

And as I was looking back those photos where my  mom and my sister wore it before, I made this photo comparison to find out who wore it the best.  It’s just for fun actually. ^_^
