Modeled by my younger sister Xyza, one of the reasons why the Lara Croft Tomb Raider costume is one of the best choice among women is because of Lady Croft’s feminine characteristics.  She has a unique style, elegance and power. As portrayed by Angelina Jolie in the movie Tomb Raider, these character has been popular specially during Halloween.

If you want to dress like her this coming Halloween or any other costume events that you are planning to attend, choose a sleeveless tank top,  shorts and calf-high boots. You also include some accessories such as utility belt with holsters on either side and two pistols. This costume is certainly a smart choice since the entire ensemble is so comfy to wear and light weight.

When you think about fairies you might thought of them as small, feminine and very delicate creatures dressed in colorful, pastel or white cloths that live in fairyland. Little girls would love to get dressed in a girl fairy costumes such as Pink fairy, Tinkerbell pixie costumes, Butterfly fairy and other fairy dresses. Little girls would love to pretend, play, imagine and act like a fairy who will shower some pixie dusts.

And speaking of pixie dusts, if you haven’t heard of the Fairy Hobmother, he is a wonderful fairy that goes around visiting blogs in the blogosphere and showers some pixie dusts with a wonderful gift. This fairy comes from the fairy land of appliances online that sells the latest Fridge Freezer, wash dryers, washing machines and other kitchen appliances.

Pretty Little “Kimona” Girls

Last week, my daughter’s school celebrated the  “Buwan ng Wika” Celebration. In line with this celebration as they appreciate the Filipino culture specially the Filipino language, the elementary pupils including the kindergarten showcase their talents as they present different Filipino folk dance.  The K2 pupils performed a Visayan song and dance. The girls were required to wear a Kimona dress paired with clogs or sandals and headdress as well. While the boys wore a barong tagalog.

I really find this photo of my daughter and her classmate wearing their Kimona dress so cute! They look like a cute old mature woman lol! Kimona dress is usually worn as casual dress or for formal occasion. This casual kimona dress is always worn with matching West Visayan wrap around called “patadyong” as a skirt.
