Me and My Mom’s recent photo while wearing our swimsuits confidently
I know some or most of my fellow mommy friends here would not want or even dare to wear swimsuits nor even two piece at the beach or at the pool but hey! I’m telling you to try and feel don’t despair. With a little creative energy you can turn planning a day at the beach into a day at the beach! The goal, as some experts will say, is to accentuate your positives to begin in selecting the right swimwear for your body type. You just have to play up the feature you admire most about yourself, and if you’re not comfortable with that certain area, just don’t bring attention to it.
In selecting a swimsuit, if you have a pear shaped body, look for a suit that is a solid color from the waist down, with a print, a bold color block, or a ruffle on the top, to draw the eye upward. If your body type is straight which means you have no defined waistline, find a suit that has a pattern at the bust and hip area with a solid at the middle that draws the eyes to the areas you feel confident about. Locking on the right size is also important. While this may sound simple enough, but take note that wearing clothing that doesn’t fit properly is one of the biggest fashion faux pas women make. So be sure to take the time to look and try on until you find the one that’s right for your body.
